    Sightseeing

Visit historic St. Boniface Church built in 1904, just next door to the Churchyard Inn. A treasure of architecture and artwork, this beautiful church is a marvel of pioneer devotion and dedication. Browse our four antique stores and stop into Eleanors Corner Saloon for lunch or dinner. The Sage Bakery is open on Friday and Saturday for a great cup of coffee and delicious pastries. All are a short walk from the Inn.

Take the Loop Drive to Wawawai Park on the Snake River to Lewiston. Approximately 50 miles round trip.

Visit Lower Granite Dam. Don't miss the museum at the dam that tells the history of the development of the vast fruit orchards along 90 miles of the Snake River and the ingenuity of the wheat farmers on the plateaus getting their grain to the river for shipment by steamboat to world markets

Browse art galleries and museums in all four of the Quad Cities and the Spalding Indian Museum at Lapwai. Don't miss the Centennial Mall at Lewis Clark State College in Lewiston.

Hell's Canyon, North America's deepest gorge and one of the world's best kept secrets. Whitewater rafting and jet boat trips offer excitement for the adventurous.

    Golfing:
The Banana Belt climate of Lewiston-Clarkston offers year-round golfing at four excellent courses. Two more courses are available in Pullman and Moscow near the campuses of Washington State University and the University of Idaho. A short 16 miles to either location.
    Fishing:
Fish for bass, steelhead, trout and sturgeon in the Snake and Clearwater Rivers. Dworshak Dam Reservoir is great for bluebacks and bass with spectacular scenery thrown in.
Other recreational activities in the area are hunting, power boating, rafting, sailing, jet skiing, trap and clay shooting, hiking, jobbing, swimming, bowling, bicycling and much more.
    Cultural Events:
Washington State University hosts wonderful theatrical and musical events at their performing arts center. See the Innkeeper for a schedule of events.
    Sports:
The Washington State University Cougars are a Pac-10 football team that ignites the Pullman and surrounding communities during football season. The University of Idaho Vandals add to the excitement. WSU and the UI also offer many other sports to watch, too. Join in the fun!
